## From struggle 
to spark.

From a kitchen table struggle to a mission of joyful learning.

## The Night Everything Changed

It was a Tuesday. Grade 2. My son's teacher pulled us aside after school.
"Have you considered getting him tested for ADHD?"
My wife and I looked at each other. We'd seen the signs—the over reactions to minor issues, the hyperfocus on building Lego, the meltdowns when writing a single sentence took 45 minutes.

We took him to a pediatrician. She suspected autism spectrum disorder.

Then came the wait. Almost 12 months for a psychoeducational assessment. 12 months of watching him struggle while we had no roadmap.

## The Books Piled Up. 
The Answers Didn't.

When the diagnosis finally came... neurodivergent, excelling in some areas but needing serious support in others... I read everything.

- Living with Intensity. Check.
- Upside-Down Brilliance. Check.

Here's what the books didn't prepare me for: the homework wars.

## Why NeoBuddi Exists

NeoBuddi isn't just an app. It's a safe, mobile-first AI learning companion and homework tutor for children aged 5-15, built specifically for curious and neurodivergent kids (ADHD, autism, dyslexia, gifted/2E).

We set out to turn homework frustration into confident discovery through personalized Socratic tutoring, visual diagrams with captions, voice I/O, and adaptive neurodiversity support.

Most importantly, we built it with a 3-layer safety moderation system, full parental controls, session transcripts, and real-time alerts—so parents can step back, knowing their child is safe and supported.
